ACRSS Academic Press

Mission

ACRSS Academic Press is the publishing imprint of the American Centre for Research in the Social Sciences (ACRSS) at Omega Graduate School (Dayton, TN USA). Established in 1981, our mission is to disseminate seminal research that integrates theory and practice for constructive social change. We are committed to promoting scholarly inquiry that challenges existing paradigms and establishes thought leadership in the social science and adjacent fields (education, humanities, theology/religious studies, business, leadership, etc).

Institutional Alignment

As the research publishing arm of the Omega Graduate School, ACRSS Academic Press operates with an unwavering commitment to intellectual integrity. We serve as an independent scholarly venue, curating collections that advance the understanding of human systems, social dynamics, religious movements, and the clinical interventions that shape them.

Editorial Standards

We adhere to the standards of publication ethics as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Every work published under the ACRSS imprint undergoes a formal evaluation to ensure it contributes meaningfully to the scholarly literature.

Peer-Review Process

  1. Initial Assessment - Proposals are screened by the Editorial Board for thematic fit, originality, methodological soundness, and writing quality.
  2. Double-Blind Peer Review - Accepted proposals undergo a rigorous double-blind review process by at least two external subject matter experts.
  3. Revision & Final Acceptance - Authors are provided with constructive feedback to strengthen the manuscript before final board approval.
  4. Integrity - The Board prioritizes research that demonstrates empirical or theoretical novelty and clarity of communication.
